Personal study where I tried to recreate a originally 2D effect in Unreal using "modern techniques". Also made the CRT filter shader to make it look oldschool! The animation is set up in Niagara, and things like distance traveled, speed and timing is all set up by user parameters

The effect was designed to work in 2D, but here is how the meshes behave in other camera angles. It breaks when looked from its front or back. The shaders use WPO to skew the meshes and create a fake perspective when looked sideways
