This is the entire playthrough of the game as posted at the official youtube channel. Not exactly a VFX Reel, but it conveniently shows all the gameplay effects.
Tomb Raider Reloaded is a game developed by Emerald City Games and published by SquareEnix London (later acquired by CDE). I worked in this project from start to finish as the lead VFX and Tech Artist, and all VFX were made by me and Albin Desboeufs.
As the lead, I set the foundations of the effects, as the lookdev of basic elemental effects, and created all the shaders and most of the textures used across the effects in the game. The effects were made using an Uber Shader with modular features, with classic things as alpha erosion, distortions, etc, also with the help of other simpler sprite shaders.
